Eat & Drink

A feast for the senses

The flavours and aromas of certain meals can conjure that moment in time for the rest of your life. That’s the experience we aim to provide for you on your wedding day.

We’re firm believers that eating together is a hugely important part of your celebrations, and the food you share should be a feast for all the senses.

Eat & Drink

The perfect mix

Choosing drinks for your wedding day is about pleasing yourselves as well as your guests.

As much as any other part of the day, your wines can help tell the story of you as a couple. So, if there’s a certain vintage that reminds you of the region of Italy where you got engaged, or you’d like to open your great uncle’s eyes to some up-and-coming English vineyards, all you have to do is ask.

The same applies when it comes to beer. Rather than our premium bottled lagers, you could choose to introduce your guests to some locally brewed Staffordshire ales or experimental craft cans.

Non-alcoholic drinks don’t have to mean orange juice at The Moat House. Drivers and non-drinkers are just as well-catered for. Ask your wedding concierge about our non-alcoholic wines and spirits and the range of soft drinks we offer.

Ready to taste for yourself?

You want to be sure ahead of the big day that your wedding breakfast is going to tick all of the right boxes. We’ve created a tasting menu especially for couples planning their wedding at The Moat House, so that you can experience an array of different dishes and make those all-important decisions about what to serve your guests.

Taste those options you’ve been torn between, and discuss your choices with your wedding concierge, who will be on hand to answer any questions.
